Our ISAAC Boxes

In February of 2022, the Mesa Family was excited to announce the newest addition to their family. It was about to grow by another bouncing baby boy and their hearts were full. On March 18, 2022, Samantha and Pedro Mesa suffered a miscarriage and ultimately lost their son Isaac, which broke their hearts, along with the hearts of their family and those around them. Through prayer, counseling and a support system built by family and friends, they walked through the grief process together. Through this tragedy and devastation, a beautiful idea formed and Love and Trust Ministries, Inc. emerged.

Although time continues to heal their hurt, the scars will always remain. Now they’re dedicated to helping other women and families who have suffered loss through the distribution of “I Supply An Abundance of Comfort” care packages or ISAAC Boxes. The boxes contain some of the resources that helped them get through their hardest moments of grief and despair. Their prayer for those who have suffered loss is that God will restore their hearts, lead them closer to Him and provide them and their family with an abundance of love and comfort.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
